Here are the next 4 winners in 2007 This year, college football bowl game results:
BCS Fiesta Bowl - West Virginia stomps a mud hole in Oklahoma, 48-28
If you thought that Southern Cal or Georgia mean spirited in her bowl was filled not see victory, West Virginia beat the Oklahoma Sooners 48-28 in the BCS Fiesta Bowl.
The 11th Rank climbers lost their coach Rich Rodriguez to Michigan before the Fiesta Bowl, lost their starBackwater Steve Slaton had a first quarter leg injury pull together under interim coach Bill Stewart, and managed to do all and then some.
Quarterback Pat White ran another 150 yards and threw 176 yards and 2 touchdowns. Noel Devine went for Slaton and ran for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns, one for 17 yards and another for 65 yards to win the game in the 4th Quarterly Clinch.
Oklahoma mighty act which was on average 43 points per game, putting a neutralagainst 4th Rank West Virginia's defense. The West Virginia offensive players-White, Devine and Darius Reynaud, appeared in the past Sooners appeared to be exported must be watched, rather than to fight.
Of course, some of the flower of Oklahoma, Bob Stoops and his players who leave are now much less impressive, with all their carping. They were embarrassed last year in the same Fiesta Bowl when Boise State made it ridiculous and plays a trick with a stunning upset. The Sooners haveshut up together, and the game begins again soccer.
For a team that was the 9th Rank in the defense and scored in the 8th rushing defense, the Sooners looked slow when it most mattered. They looked back a lot of jerseys. Enter the West Virginia Mountaineers credit, they have it together when it counted.
It has all decide one days for the West Virginia brain trust that perhaps their national search for a new coach until the end in their own locker room as Bill shouldStewart became the new head coach.
BCS Orange Bowl - Kansas Takes Down the Mighty Virginia Tech Hokies, 24-21
So who was it that said, Kansas is a paper tiger? A 6-6 team last year that no business in a BCS Bowl game had. All the Jayhawks this year has been the area of the 6th best total offense in the nation and the 2nd best scoring offense at the national level on the way to a heady 12-1 record after polishing from Virginia Tech 24-21 in the BCS Orange Bowl.
If KansasCoach Mark Mangino was in a crowded subway station in New York City, he was not the type of complaints and cries. He would be the guy you would not only for its large presence indication, where no more than on the sideline when Kansas plays football. The people begin to learn that can fly Jayhawks, they are not chickens.
So, here comes Kansas in the BCS game and win as the Jayhawks? With their defense. The Jayhawks picked 3 passes and made17 points to take down the No. 5-seat Hokies. It was for Kansas, which won its first BCS game and set a school record with 12 wins sweet. Virginia Tech, their 4 Lost consecutive BCS game, fell to 11-3.
It was a cold and windy night for both teams and the Hokies stayed in the game, but the Jayhawks jumped out of a 17-0 lead, and they have finished what they started. They played like their future depended on it, and because they did, they have a better future. It is myUnderstand that virtually every player on the team again next year. As they say in the entertainment industry, this could be the start of something big.
International Bowl - Rutgers and Ray Rice Run Ball in 52-30 Rout
Ray Rice has created some of the history of a historic school by playing you for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns in leading Rutgers, the first college football game past Ball State 52-30.
Rutgers, in Toronto, Canada for the InternationalBowl marked the second season victory in school 138-year history, and the second consecutive victory in two years with their 37-10 blowout victory over Kansas State in last year's Texas Bowl.
Rice, which 25 touchdowns this season and 2012 Rushing yards, both school records, was also the first Big East player of the 2000-meter relay crack rushing barrier. He is in pretty good company as former Big East players with NFL effects are Edgerrin James, Clinton Portis and WillisMcGahee, all graduates of Miami (FL). Quarterback Mike Teel at Rutgers helped by 16-of-25 for 303 yards and 3 TD passes.
Under Rice's been a long running career 90-yard TD dart. Rice, a young must now decide to go back to the NFL early, or Rutgers for a senior season. He has his plans for the NFL draft, 15 Announced in January.
While Rice was the great performance from Ball State rushing defense was not. Ball State was the 99th Rank nationally in rushing defense. Ball State is notreal killer games either in a bowl, with in 6, and won none. This is the state of college football bowl today, when 32 games are with 64 teams and there are only 119 to the pickup. Rutgers ended its season at 8-5 (not that big deal) and Ball State fell to 7-6 (at least it was not) a lost season.
GMAC Bowl - Tulsa Writes on Stupid mistakes Bowling Green, 63-7
Enter Bowling Green some props for it to the GMAC Bowl. You did not destroythe vehicle which she uses to get into the stadium. They managed to put on themselves. But that was it. When it came time to show, the Falcons managed keys 4 times in the first half and their opponents, Tulsa, quickly scored 4 touchdowns a mid-term take 35-0 lead.
The rest was just lost all downhill for Bowling Green, 63-7, as it was until the end of the year at 8-5 (at least it is a successful recording that does more than say a bowl loser is). The result was the unilateral (56Points) this year, 32-game bowl schedule. Prior to the GMAC Bowl was, Bowling Green won their last 4 consecutive bowl trips.
"We were out before we are in them," said Bowling Green coach Gregg Brandon.
Tulsa took 3 things, which is GMAC Bowl: The nation of the 10th best scoring offense in the nation 3rd best passing offense and the nation's No. 1 total offense. They showed why the Golden Hurricane could score 63 points in a game.
Quarterback Paul Smith went for 312 yards and5 Touch Downs, while rolling his 14th consecutive 300-meter passing game, breaking a record for Ty Detmer Brigham Young. On the way to the blowout win, Tulsa became the first team in NCAA history to a 5000-meter-passer, a 1,000-meter-rusher, and 3 (count 'em) have 1,000-meter receiver. Tulsa only tortured to 562 yards of offense in the game.
First-year Tulsa coach Todd Graham led the Golden Hurricane to a 10-4 record, the first 10-win season for Tulsa in 1991 to 18 years ago.
